“6. 7. E trovansi
appresso due botteghe assai profonde, ognuna con cella interiore, alla prima
delle quali era addossato un androne, che potrebbe aver servitor di
repositorio.”

(trans: 6 and 7. Nearby were found two very deep shops,
each with an inner rear room, the first of which (in VII.4.6) was against a
corridor, that could have been used as a repository.)

In August 1823, graffiti were found on the pilaster between VII.4.7 and VII.4.8, on the right in this photograph.
